Wikipedia Website Now Available for Mobile Devices

Wikipedia has launched a mobile phone optimized version of their encyclopedia website at mobile.wikipedia.org. Wikipedia has officially launched a mobile phone optimized version of their encyclopedia at mobile.wikipedia.org. This is a plain vanilla site with a simple search box, no images and all articles are split into multiple pages similar to Google Transcoder.

Wikipedia Mobile is a a HAWHAW website meaning it will work alike on desktop browsers as well as mobile devices. You can also read Wikipedia on mobile devices via email. Hat tip to Steve.
